Douglas Cuddle Toys Wishlist 2k19

Hey guys! I felt like one of these is necessary...I'm running low on space in my current room setup, so I'm trying to stick to only getting what's here lol. I'm only adding retired ones to this list, as there's plenty of toy stores around me to find the new ones at. Each section is broken down into tiers rather than species, with S-tier being the most wanted, A-tier being the next most wanted, etc etc. Believe it or not, this is the condensed version lol. Interesting Douglas Plush 2k19 Screenshots

Looks like 2019 will be the year they finally expand their cat collection! There's what looks to be a THICC black panther (not too fond of that demo model tho, gonna have to see what it looks like in real life or until a better photo is posted), a grey and white version of Gayla, as well as a siamese in the same position (doesn't look as nice tho, again we'll wait and see to pass judgement). There's also two jumbo laying wolves, one a traditional timber wolf and the other either a white wolf or an artic fox (I'm hoping it's a wolf, but its face looks too much like Snow Queen to be sure) as well as a jumbo red fox. I'm looking forward to seeing that fuzzy pig and goat in person! Added in for funsies is that cute clam, it's a little childish but I like it. Not pictured is a spotted red owl of some sort and some really cute fat brightly colored bunnies. In another screenshot from a different day, there seemed to be a new coloration for Phoenix wolf, making it look like a paler version of the jumbo wolf and not just a laying version of Atka.

Toungless Shalah + German Shepherd

Out of curiosity, I looked on Etsy to see what kind of vintage plush they had. I stumbled upon a Douglas golden retriever (www.etsy.com/listing/491221950…) whose size and pose is similar to Shalah's, but is missing the cute tongue Crying . Then, a couple pages later, I found a sitting german shepherd (www.etsy.com/listing/491213846…). The seller doesn't list the brand or show any pictures of its tags, but the face detail (esp. the leather nose and grizzled face) seem pretty Douglas to me. There's a big chance that it is not a Douglas, but either way it's cute.

The Master of Misplacing

As I finish up my photodocumenting, I've noticed a couple things. Mainly-
WHERE THE HELL DID I PUT SOME OF THEM??????

The ones I've noticed missing so far are......
  • Torti
  • Rusty
  • Mischa
  • Stella
The one thing these four have in common is that I took them out like 4 years ago to take pics, so there's a good chance they're in my closet. I'll upload some old photos of them if I can't find them, some of which aren't digital. (Yay for crappy film photos!)
  • Joli
  • Wilma (kohair cat)

These two have been almost permanent fixtures in my room, so they're probably also in my closet. Which is currently blocked off by a bunch of college stuff. Ugh. There's also a chance that Joli got jumbled in with my signatures bc I kept her near them, so if she is, her pic will come much later than everyone else's.
Also, I've misplaced Obi (puffin). I took him out last week while cleaning, and now I can't figure out where I put him. I also don't know what I've done with my one and only Rad Dog (Noser JR), and my mom took my hedgehog for herself, so that's probably with her Steiff.

And then there's this mystery. Both my mom and I remember how Kipper's back (the black saddle) feels, yet neither of us know if I actually own him or if I put him back. It's oddly specific, and I asked her to describe her memory before telling her mine, so I know she isn't basing it off of my experience. I don't think either of us would have that intense of an experience to specifically keep it in our memories and not buy it. Something similar happened before, where I had the memory of playing with Cloudy's beard but she didn't think I had him, and lo and behold, he is in my collection. If Kipper left such a strong mark in both of our minds like this and it turns out I don't have him, I'll be pretty disappointed.

EDIT- FOUND!!!

All four cats, Joli, the Rad Dog, and the hedgehog have been found. The whereabouts of Wilma and Obi are still unknown, and the existence of Kipper is still a mystery.
